The brief

Edit date.measures.json, with exactly measures.OrderRevenue, ShipRevenue and ShipOrders as formula strings. Supported expressions: SUM(Sales[Amount]), COUNTROWS(Sales), [Revenue], [Orders], and one CALCULATE(expression, modifiers...). Supported modifiers: USERELATIONSHIP(Calendar[Date],Sales[ShipDate]); CROSSFILTER(Calendar[Date],Sales[OrderDate],None); TREATAS(VALUES(Calendar[Date]),Sales[ShipDate]). Either endpoint order and case-insensitive declared labels are accepted; tables may be quoted. Exactly one instance of each modifier is permitted; unsupported expressions are rejected. OrderRevenue must retain OrderDate; the shipped measures must use ShipDate and preserve supplied Region/Product restrictions. Use SUM for revenue and COUNTROWS for shipped facts. All query dates are explicit sets; JSON null is BLANK, and zero amount remains numeric zero. Inspect actual IDs, active paths and direct filters, repair without Reset, and rerun all changed populations.

What the checks verify

Your work is graded on 9 independent properties, not on matching one reference answer.

  • Compile exactly three learner measures using the stated bounded DAX grammar.
  • OrderRevenue retains order-date fact identities and amounts under single-date selections.
  • ShipRevenue retains ship-date identities and amounts under single-date selections.
  • ShipOrders counts the actual ship-date fact rows rather than their amount or default order-date rows.
  • Both revenue measures preserve North, Tea and simultaneous non-date restrictions.
  • ShipOrders preserves each non-date fact restriction and counts only those shipped observations.
  • All selected calendar dates preserve orders but exclude unshipped rows from shipped measures.
  • A discontiguous date selection transfers the complete set without intersecting it with OrderDate.
  • Empty date or no-product selections produce no fact identities and BLANK for SUM and COUNTROWS.
